Refund Policy

1. Whenever services are provided by Gomez, Student agrees to provide payment for services based on the current published rate. Current published rate is pre-negotiated on a case by case basis, otherwise as published on gomezaviation.com. 

2. From the time that a scheduled lesson begins, Student agrees to compensate Gomez the appropriate published rate until a scheduled lesson ends, or time is otherwise ended by Gomez. Student agrees to show up on-time to scheduled lessons. If Student fails to show up on-time, Gomez must still be provided compensation for that scheduled lesson. On time means no later than 10 mins to a given training session, or time that is otherwise agreed on by Gomez. If a student arrives early to a given training session, the billed time will not begin until either the scheduled lesson beginning, or as agreed otherwise between both parties.

3. Student agrees to provide compensation to Gomez no later than 48 hours after a given training session, or a time that is otherwise agreed on by Gomez. If student fails to provide compensation within the agreed timeframe, Gomez reserves the right to refuse further training, revoke or withhold appropriate endorsements, and charge a $50 late fee in addition to published rate. Student agrees to provide a reasonable method of payment that may be authorized to be charged in the case of excessive late payments.

4. If a student late cancels a lesson, Student will be issued a warning on the first occurrence. All subsequent occurrences will invoke a $30 late cancel fee, which the student agrees to pay prior to the next training session. (Note: Mann Aviation Inc rental agreement stipulates a late cancellation fee in addition to late cancel fee by Gomez) If a Student has excessive late cancels, Student agrees to provide a reasonable method of payment that may be authorized to be charged for each late cancellation. Late Cancel means any cancellation of any training session that was not communicated more than 24 hours prior. Exceptions include reasonable personal emergencies, weather cancels, illness, and any other reasonable explanation Gomez deems satisfactory.

5. Gomez will accept payment for services provided in the form of cash, check, bank transfer, or EFT (Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo) 

6. In the interest of simplicity and transparency, Gomez only accepts payment session by session (Pay as You Go.) No credit for past lessons will be given for any reason. No money will be held by Gomez on account for any reason.    

Scheduling Agreement

1. Student sets their own availability for training sessions and may choose to fly as much as desired. Gomez agrees to schedule to the best of his ability and availability as many training sessions as desired. Factors that can affect scheduling of training sessions include aircraft availability, weather, student availability, instructor availability, and student payment currency. Student and Gomez will mutually agree on scheduling availability for both parties, and the frequency of training sessions desired.

2. Gomez reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, postpone, or otherwise terminate any given training session for any reason deemed necessary. 

3. While every reasonable effort will be made to keep cancellations to a minimum, Student agrees not to make any claim against Gomez for loss of time resulting from cancellation of any Training Session. Student also agrees to not make any claim against Gomez for cancellations resulting from valid reasons outlined above (aircraft availability, weather, student availability, instructor availability, and student payment currency)
